Spring is our primary lacrosse season, and Alameda Attack teams compete in the East Bay Lacrosse League (EBLL). The program is open to boys and girls in 1st–8th grade and focuses on skill development, team play, and game experience.

Players practice during the week with dedicated coaches, then compete in weekend games against other clubs across the East Bay. Whether you're building your foundation or pushing your game to the next level, Spring Lacrosse is the heart of the Alameda Attack experience.

Program Overview: Our spring season includes regular practices and local games designed to build skills, teamwork, and confidence for all experience levels. New to the sport? No problem — we’ll teach you everything you need to know!

Practices  start early Feb

Season runs through May

Home Fields: Estuary Park, College of Alameda, and other ARPD fields (as needed)

Early Bird:  Register by Dec   15th & get $25 off!
Bring a Friend Bonus:  Refer a new player and receive a $50 refund after their registration is complete!

Players registered after January 1st will be placed on a waitlist and added to rosters as space allows.

Refund Policy:

• Before March 15th, a 50% refund is available.
• After March 15th, no refunds will be issued.

What to Expect:

• 2 practices per week (schedule varies by team)
• 8–12 games during the season
• Post-Season Tournament: mid-May

Equipment: 
All players must have the required gear by the first practice in early February.

• Girls: Stick, Goggles, Mouthguard, Cleats (headgear optional, Cascade recommended for those with glasses)
• Boys: Stick, Helmet, Pads, Mouthguard (with strap), Cleats

Uniforms: 
We’re using the same uniforms as last season!  Please notify the Club if your jersey no longer fits so that we can accommodate as many updates as possible!

• New Players: Provide size info during registration.
• Returning Players: Let us know your number and size.
• Alameda Lacrosse will collect uniforms at season's end.
• Got a gently used uniform? We gladly accept hand-me-downs!

Fees:

8U — $250

10U — $450

12U —  $575

14U — $575

Fees cover: field use, referees, coach stipends (when applicable), team equipment, volunteer background checks, insurance, and more.

Alameda Lacrosse is 99% volunteer-run — and we couldn’t do it without you! This year, we’ve eliminated the Volunteer Buyout ($275) to make participation easier. Instead, we’re asking families to please help in whatever way they can — coaching, team managing, field setup, communications, or other roles that fit your skills. Your support helps grow lacrosse in Alameda and beyond!
