About the Team
The Alameda 10U Boys team is designed for players in 3rd and 4th grade, building on foundational skills introduced at the younger levels. This is an exciting age group where athletes begin to understand team concepts, play faster-paced games, and grow their love for the sport. Our 10U team participates in the East Bay Lacrosse League (EBLL), with weekend games and weekday practices.
Coaching Philosophy
Our coaches are focused on development first — emphasizing fundamentals, teamwork, and effort over wins and losses. We believe that creating a positive, fun, and structured learning environment helps players grow both as athletes and as people. Our staff is committed to teaching respect, resilience, and responsibility through the game of lacrosse.
Player Experience
Players at the 10U level will:
- Develop stick skills, passing, catching, dodging, and shooting
- Learn basic offensive and defensive team concepts
- Compete in small-sided games that promote movement and decision-making
- Gain confidence through consistent practice and encouragement
- Begin to understand game flow, sportsmanship, and playing with purpose
We balance instruction with fun — keeping players engaged, moving, and excited to return each week.
