About the Team

The Alameda 10U Girls team is built for 3rd and 4th grade athletes, offering a supportive and engaging introduction to competitive lacrosse. This team builds on foundational skills with age-appropriate instruction and a focus on confidence and teamwork. The 10U team competes in the East Bay Lacrosse League (EBLL) with weekend games and weekday practices throughout the season.

Coaching Philosophy

Our coaching staff is passionate about creating a positive, empowering environment where young athletes can learn, grow, and love the game. We emphasize skill development, inclusion, and effort over outcome. At this level, we focus on teaching the fundamentals while encouraging players to support one another, take risks, and build self-confidence through play.

Player Experience

Players on the 10U Girls team will:

  • Learn proper stick handling, ground balls, cradling, and shooting
  • Develop basic offensive and defensive concepts
  • Compete in small-sided games that promote movement, space, and decision-making
  • Practice good sportsmanship, communication, and teamwork
  • Build friendships and confidence in a safe, supportive environment

We want every player to leave practice smiling and feeling proud of what they accomplished.
