About the Team

The Alameda 14U Girls team serves players in 7th and 8th grade, offering a fast-paced, competitive, and supportive environment as athletes prepare for high school-level play. This team competes in the East Bay Lacrosse League (EBLL) with structured practices during the week and weekend games throughout the spring.

Coaching Philosophy

Our coaches aim to develop confident, team-oriented athletes by combining high-level instruction with consistent encouragement. At 14U, we emphasize individual accountability, tactical understanding, and leadership. Our coaching approach supports players in refining their game while reinforcing core values like resilience, respect, and teamwork.

Player Experience

At the 14U level, players will:

  • Refine advanced stick skills, shooting on the run, and defensive footwork
  • Understand and apply tactical strategies in game settings
  • Compete in full-field, full-rules games that demand teamwork and game awareness
  • Take on leadership roles and grow as teammates and communicators
  • Prepare for the physical, mental, and emotional demands of high school sports

We expect strong effort and a positive attitude — and we return that with high-energy coaching and team-wide support.
