Overview

Alameda Lacrosse is a community-based youth sports organization serving boys and girls in 1st–8th grade across Alameda and the East Bay. We offer seasonal programming focused on player development, teamwork, and character — with opportunities for both new and experienced athletes. Through practices, league play, and clinics, we aim to make lacrosse accessible, competitive, and fun.

History

Founded to meet the growing demand for youth lacrosse in Alameda, our club has steadily expanded in both size and impact. What began as a small grassroots effort has grown into a vibrant program that participates in the East Bay Lacrosse League (EBLL), offering players the chance to train locally and compete regionally. Over the years, we’ve stayed true to our community roots while elevating the player experience each season

Mission

Our mission is to grow the game of lacrosse by providing a fun, inclusive, and developmentally focused experience for youth athletes. We aim to foster a lifelong love for the game by teaching fundamental skills, encouraging leadership and teamwork, and building strong character both on and off the field.
